Founder's PurityGirl Story

CARMEN FOY, Founder & CEO
PurityGirl, Incorporated

Carmen Foy is the Founder and CEO of PurityGirl, Incorporated, a Dallas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and advocating for teen girls. She is passionate about equipping young women with the confidence, skills, and support they need to recognize and reach their full potential. Carmen believes every girl desires to belong to something meaningful. As a community leader, she is committed to ensuring that girls have opportunities to be part of experiences that are positive, empowering, and life-changing. This belief inspired her to launch PurityGirl, Inc. and continues to guide the organization’s mission today. A dynamic domestic and international speaker, Carmen is committed to continually growing in wisdom—both spiritually and professionally. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pittsburg State University and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from Grand Canyon University. Carmen is actively involved in her church’s youth ministry and is a certified Trauma Healing Facilitator through the Trauma Healing Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also a passionate advocate for addressing and dismantling the social barriers that can prevent teen girls from moving forward and reaching their full potential. After 22 years of service, Carmen retired from Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas, where she served as a Corporate Facilitator. Her August 2018 retirement allowed her to devote herself fully to her ministry and purpose. Her husband, Barak Foy, also serves as a Board Member. Together, they are affectionately known as “God’s Power Couple.” Carmen believes God has given her a special heart for girls, and she remains deeply committed to helping them discover the confidence, power, and God-given purpose within them.
