It's a trick of the devil to believe that God doesn’t care about us because He does. It’s important for Christians to remember that God has plans for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future…”. God knows the future and his plans for his people are good and full of hope. He doesn’t want harm to come to us. He’s the best guide and leader ever. Since God wants nothing but good things for his people, he has an agenda for our lives. Ask him to share it with you. He wants us to lean and depend on him as we fulfill his mission for our lives. This doesn’t mean we won’t experience pain, suffering, or hardship but when we do God will help us through. He will hear us when we call upon him. He will help us when we need it. Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart…”. God is always there with us. We only need to reach out to him in prayer. God can be sought and found when we seek him wholeheartedly. Be yourself and be honest and true. Pour out your heart to God.
